This Privacy Policy explains how WeUnblock (“WeUnblock”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the WeUnblockmobile application and this website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to make WeUnblock work well:

  • Account information — email address used to create your account.
  • Content you create — the daily evaluations, reflections, and notes you write in the app.
  • Usage data — anonymized analytics on how the app is used (e.g. screens viewed, crashes) to improve reliability.
  • Device data — operating system version, device model, and language settings.
  • Purchase data — receipts and entitlements from Apple or Google when you make a purchase. We never see your card number.

2. How we use information

  • To provide the core features of the Service.
  • To sync your data securely across your devices.
  • To investigate crashes and improve quality.
  • To respond when you contact support.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not train machine-learning models on the content of your reflections.

3. Where your data is stored

Your account and content are stored with our infrastructure provider, Supabase, in their secure cloud environment. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Backups are retained on a rolling basis for operational recovery.

4. Third parties

  • Supabase — database and authentication.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing and app distribution.
  • Resend — transactional email (e.g. account deletion confirmations) when configured.
  • Analytics — privacy-respecting analytics on aggregate usage. No reflection content is shared.

Each third party processes data under its own privacy terms. We choose providers that meet industry-standard security practices.

5. Your rights

You can, at any time:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Export a copy of your reflections from inside the app.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate.
  • Delete your account and associated data via the in-app setting, or by visiting /delete-account.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.

Deletion is permanent and completed within 30 days. We may retain limited records where required by law (e.g. tax records related to purchases).

6. Children

WeUnblock is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS for data in transit and encryption at rest. No system is perfectly secure; you should also protect access to your devices and email account.

8. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than where you live. We rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by notifying you in-app or via email.
